*Thanks to the lovely Shuva Rahim of Accent Photographics for the following photos:
My life began at the age of 3. At least that’s what the photographic evidence would say.
My family home burned to the ground when I was three years old, taking with it all of our photographs except one baby photo of me that was in my dad’s wallet. But that photograph doesn’t say a thing about me – only that I was once an infant and my dad was a very proud poppa (he still has the photo in his wallet 42 years later).
So much of our identity is connected to photographs, yet so few of those photographs show who we really are. That photograph in my dad’s wallet will not tell you that I am quirky, dependable, a daredevil, creative, determined, brave, cuddly, tearful, fun-loving, thoughtful, caring, sensitive, giving, wholehearted, insightful, down to earth, non-judgmental, open-minded and wise.
My deepest desire as an artist is to see you. To see into you and let your soul speak its truth. To fill your home with insightful works of art that remind you every single day that YOU are a beautiful, unique work of art.
